I view it as an impressive sign of strength when business owners admit to me that they don’t know how to read financial reports. And here I’ll bet you thought you were the only one who didn’t know how! Not so. In fact, that exact line has been spoken to me in hushed tones many, many times.

I’ve found that business owners will readily admit they don’t know how to keep their books but admitting their unfamiliarity with financial reports lives deep in the shadows and is rarely spoken out loud. I get it. No judgement but let’s not let that continue. There is a fix.

On Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 12:30 I will be hosting an interactive zoom session for small business owners who would like to start understanding their financial reports in a meaningful and useful way. We will get our feet wet by stepping through a Profit and Loss statement and a Balance Sheet. Then we’ll go over what to look for on a monthly basis so business owners can readily pick up on trends in their books and start using the reports to increase profits and reduce expenses. We’ll keep it simple.

Join the call and let’s “Talk it Through Thursday” together. Visit Harmoneybooks.com to register and to view the topics for our ongoing series for small business owners.
